Guacamole

This avocado based dip, synonymous with Mexican cuisine, is made by mashing ripe avocados and adding chopped tomatoes, onions, black pepper, coriander leaves and salt, with a dash of lemon juice. Enjoy the Mexican flavours without having to feel guilty as the mono-unsaturated fats in the avocados make it healthy and the fibre makes it gut-friendly! This recipe gives you an amazingly versatile dish which is a great weight loss snack, a dip that goes with anything like chips, as a spread on your toast, as salad dressing or as salsa for your burrito.
