The cooked chicken tikka (see the recipe in our Appetizers section) adds layers of flavour to the chaat and combined with the chaat masala, it sure is a treat for your taste buds. Try this out and you will never look at the already flavourful chicken tikka the same way!

Ingredients
Cooked Chicken Tikka 280 gms (see recipe in our Appetizers section)
Onions 80 gms
Tomato 60 gms
Green Bell Pepper 30 gms
Green Chillies 10 gms
Coriander Leaves 10 gms
Mint Chutney 5 ml ( See our Condiments and Dips section for recipe)
Pomegranate Seeds 20 gms
Roasted Cumin powder 10 gms
Red Chilli Powder 5 gms
Chaat Masala 10 gms
Lemon juice 10 ml
Salt to taste
Black Pepper crushed to taste
Directions
- Cut the onions, tomato and bell pepper into thin strips, chop the green chillies.
- Cut the chicken tikka into thin strips and mix it along with the vegetables in a mixing bowl.
- Add the mint chutney, salt, cumin powder, red chilli powder and chaat masala. Squeeze some lemon juice over the top. Season with salt and black pepper powder.
- Mix well ensuring all the ingredients are well coated.
- To serve, gently put the salad in the serving bowl and top it with some pomegranate seeds. Sprinkle the chopped coriander leaves on top.
Chef’s Twist :-
Make it more flavourful by grilling the chicken tikka over charcoal or more healthy by adding sprouts.
