Ingredients

  • Milk Chocolate 120 gms

  • Full Cream Milk 1 litre

  • Heavy Cream 100 ml

  • Cocoa powder 30 gms

  • Corn Flour 50 gms

  • Sugar 150 gms

  • Vanilla Essence 5 ml

  • Salt 2 gms

Directions

  • Melt chocolate by double boiling method.
  • In a pan, combine the sugar, corn starch, cocoa powder and salt, gradually stirring in the milk.
  • Place over low heat and stir constantly until it thickens.
  • Whip heavy cream to a soft peak consistency and add it to the melted chocolate.
  • Add the melted chocolate mixture to the thickened milk.
  • Switch off the heat and add the vanilla essence.
  • Transfer this to a serving bowl and let it cool and set.
  • Refrigerate, and serve with a garnish of shaved chocolate on top.
