Greek salad is also known as Horiatiki salad. The essential ingredients of a traditional Greek salad are tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, Kalamata olives, feta cheese and green peppers. These are then tossed with a dressing that has olive oil, oregano and red wine vinegar or lemon juice. Easy to prepare, but brimming with flavours, this salad is a perfect starter to any meal. Stick to olive oil and vinegar dressing to dine like the Greeks or dress it to suit your taste.
